This weekโs Soul Health Mentor episode was inspired by both the ๐๐๐ฎ๐ก๐งรค๐๐ก๐ญ๐ practice, a Celtic pagan tradition, and the cultural differences I experienced between Germany and America during the holiday season.
The time between years for me personally became sacred when I returned to natural rhythms and cycles via the wheel of the year and its seasons. For me, it is about returning to the source of things and the desires of the heart.
In recent years, many have rediscovered the โRaunรคchteโ โ the 12 Holy Nights between years.
The ๐๐๐ฎ๐ก๐งรค๐๐ก๐ญ๐ is the darkest time of the year and invites you to rest and reflect. It is the perfect time to go into oneself and to deal with oneโs desires. A small retreat from the hustle and bustle of everyday life to prepare for the new year.
The origins of the ๐๐๐ฎ๐ก๐งรค๐๐ก๐ญ๐ lie in the transition of the moon calendar to the solar calendar. The lunar year is 354 days somewhat shorter than the solar year. There were 12 nights โleftoverโ.
Hardly anything has been handed down about the rituals of the early ๐๐๐ฎ๐ก๐งรค๐๐ก๐ญ๐ because at this time everything was passed down only through word of mouth. The first written records are found in the 16th century.
In this episode, I present you with feel-good rituals to manifest your heartโs dreams as well as clearing rituals to close out the year powerfully.
Such as:
- Smudging your space.
- Setting an intention for 2023.
- Using oracle cards to discern the divine order of your life.
- Fire rituals to let go and to activate your heartโs desires.
